David Beatty
Biography- Civil Justice
Mr. Beatty is a graduate of the University of Iowa School of Law and has served as Executive Director of the Justice Solution since 1999. He is the founding Director of the National Crime Victim Bar Association. He also served as Director of the Crime Victim Litigation Project at the National Center for Victims of Crime and in that capacity designed and supervised the development of the project data base containing more than 12,000 victim-related civil cases.He is the author and co-author of numerous publications on the topic of civil justice for victims including a comprehensive training course curriculum for service providers entitled, Legal Remedies for Crime Victims: A New Dimension in Victim Advocacy.
Mr. Beatty has conducted dozens lectures and workshops on the subject having trained more than 1500 attorneys, victim service and allied professionals.
